Morrie’s Automotive Group, a dynamic, long-standing, and growing retail automotive group based in the Twin Cities metro area is expanding and has an opening for an experienced title clerk/biller. 

Morries Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant .  If you are motivated, detail oriented, and enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced working environment, then we have an opportunity for you.  The Accounting Assistant works in the office supporting the dealership by titling and billing for new and used vehicles. as well as other general accounting functions.
  
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
  • Ensures proper billing of all vehicles sold from calculating profits, setup receivables/liabilities and calculate sales commission
  • Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.
  • Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
  • Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
  • Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
  • Bills out all dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin.
  • Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
  • Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles
  • Posts vehicle Dealer Trade sales and purchases.
  • Cross-trains others to handle daily responsibilities.
  • Prepares overnight packages for outgoing checks and various paperwork.
  • Maintains professional appearance and a neat work area.
  • Provide additional Administrative support as needed.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

  • Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds is preferred but not required
