The Service Advisor explains the maintenance that a car may need and gives price estimates and makes suggestions about future work.  The Service Advisor is the dealership's first-line customer-relations and service representative.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
  • Greet customers, listen to the description of the problem, obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Answer phones and assist the guest with making appt, checking the status of the car, or getting to the correct person at the dealership
  • Assists in movement of cars through the service department (parking, washing, or pulling up cars for the guests
  • Help track and oversee loaner car fleet
  • Assist with basic warranty claim processing
  • Understand and manage used car work flow and sell work if designated person is not available
  • Ensure the service drive is kept clear and clean
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule & be on time
  • Possess strong people skills, problem solving abilities
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is always the focus
  • Previous dealership experience preferred
  • Previous experience preferred. Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record.
